The LAPADA Charity Party is known for its high-profile attendees attracting celebrities and coverage in the national press.

The LAPADA Charity Party has helped to raise 1.8 million pounds for Charity in the four Charity Evenings since its creation in 2013. LAPADA is delighted to announce JDRF as their benefiting Charity for 2018. The Party will take place on Monday 17 September 2018.

Over 800 guests will attend the Party Reception from 6-8.30pm and be treated to private view of the Fair with Gusbourne English sparkling wine, cocktails and canapes also being served. 230 guests will then stay on for the Party Dinner which commences at 9pm. The LAPADA restaurant will be transformed into a wonderful setting with Theo Randall at the InterContinental creating the  three-course meal. The Party Dinner will include entertainment and a live auction where guests will have the chance to purchase ‘money cannot buy’ prizes, hosted by renowned auctioneer Hugh Edmeades.

Type 1 diabetes is a chronic autoimmune disease which destroys the cells in the pancreas that produce insulin – the hormone that converts food into energy. There are currently 400,000 people in the UK with type 1 diabetes; over 29,000 of them are children. Did you know that the UK has one of the highest rates of type 1 diabetes in the world and incidence of the condition is growing by 4% each year, particularly in children under 5? By supporting this event, you will be helping JDRF fund life-changing research to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes.
