SARABANDE X LAPADA:
‘The Craftsman’s Dinner’
Sarabande was established by the late designer Lee Alexander McQueen to support the most visionary creative talent working today. Through scholarships and subsidised studios Sarabande has nurtured and encouraged over 70 artists and designers at the top of their game and supported tens of thousands more through our pioneering public programme of events.
On Monday September 16, Sarabande will host a major fundraising dinner at the LAPADA Fair to ensure Lee’s legacy and generous endowment lives on. Guests of ‘The Craftsman’s Dinner’ have the option to begin the evening with a guided tour of the fair, followed by a spectacular family-style dinner in LAPADA Brasserie which will be transformed for the evening. The evening will include an auction with outstanding prizes including donations from Sir Antony Gormley, Tottenham Hotspurs Football Club, Maggi Hambling CBE and master engraver Wallace Chan.
Throughout the week, Sarabande will be exhibiting at the fair on stand B25 where you can see and buy award-winning works from silversmiths, taxidermists, painters and jewellers. They will also run a raffle with daily draws. Purchase two or more raffle tickets from the LAPADA lobby and you can bag yourself a hand-made silver moth pin.
