Over the past 10 years she has curated numerous large scale acclaimed shows, which included Chas Smash’s “A Comfortable Man” Show at Wiltons Music Hall and “The Power of She” at Bowman sculpture. MC’s trademark is the curation of multi sensory shows, orchestrating a diverse range of artistic representation within spaces that are not of the usual gallery aesthetic. MC is growing to become an accomplished part of the burgeoning London Art Scene.

GUERIN PROJECTS is lead by MC. It was created in 2022, its name is eponymous of MC’s late mother Helene Guérin. Helene was an avid collector of contemporary art, and MC is following in her footsteps, championing young contemporary artists. Guerin Projects focuses on the representation of women artists and the portrayal of the feminine in the arts.

MC’s curational approach is one that is similar to the Salon exhibition, both in theme and in concept. The “Salon” style exhibitions originated in 1648 by the French Royal academy of painting and sculpture. This style of showing works was named after the Grand Salon of the Louvre, where such shows were held. It emphasises taxonomic schools of painting and commonalities of subject matter.

“Everything revolves around the Salon: the satisfaction of pride, reputation, fame, fortune and the guarantee of bread and butter.”
Adolphe Tabarant, La vie artistique au temps du Baudelaire, Paris, 1942
