Harald Altmaier is a master of fine art photography, renown for his cinematic visual storytelling and highly-detailed images that incorporate floristry, colour, and carefully considered artifacts. His large-scale projects are all based around specific themes, and his most recent series, “Stilled Floral Compositions,” is a stunning exploration of grandeur, style, and elegance.

Harald draws inspiration from the 17th and 18th Century’s old Dutch and Flemish Master Painters, he expertly uses Vermeer lighting and harmonious colours to create visual tensions and sophisticated atmospheres that transport viewers to new worlds. With Harald everything is meticulously planned and strategically placed, to help the viewer to discover the stories for themselves.
