With over 35 years of experience as an antique dealer Gavin Morgan has specialised in Decorative Arts since the late 1980’s. With a love of strong design and high quality craftsmanship Gavin goes out of his way to source the best. Gavin spent his early days working as part of JAG Decorative Arts at a gallery in Kensington Church Street, London. During that time he helped build up a large and loyal clientele of collectors, dealers and enthusiasts for high quality Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Our customers range from private collectors worldwide, museums and institutions to dealers alike.

Since 2005 after 15 years of successfully running the gallery, in light of the changing nature of the antiques trade he felt the time was right to reduce our costs and deal exclusively from the website and by appointment. Until late 2023 Gavin worked alongside Gary Strickland as part of Morgan Strickland but after Gary’s relocation Gavin now works alone.

Specialist in Liberty metalwork and Archibald Knox in particular, Morgan Strickland Ltd also carry an extensive stock of good Jugendstil, Secession and Darmstadt, Wiener Werkstatte, WMF, Kayserzinn, Osiris, Art Glass including Lalique, Gallé, Daum, Schneider and Loetz, ceramics, good lighting and small furniture and fittings.
