  1. What motivated you to join the 2023 LAPADA Berkeley Fair Selection Committee?

I have always had a passion for antiques. As the daughter of a designer, my earliest memories are of the design world. I remember growing up inspired by my father’s creativity and his circle of design industry friends, forever exploring his Hampstead interiors boutique. Very early on I developed a love of antiques and quickly fell in love with all types of design.

  1. As a judge for the LAPADA Fair’s Best Stand and Object Awards, what specific qualities are you seeking in a winner?

For the LAPADA Fair’s best stand I’m looking for a theme that captures the imagination, it can be innovative or classical in design but always intriguing and inviting to the visitor. The Best Object would be a beautiful piece with provenance that would make a statement in any interior.
