Stephanie Barba Mendoza’s Showstopping Design for the 2024 Berkeley Square Collective
A standout feature of the fair, the Berkeley Square Collective stand will once again impress visitors with a curated selection of art & antiques, expertly styled into a bespoke space by leading interior designer Stephanie Barba Mendoza. The design includes pieces from dealers and galleries including Gillian Jason Gallery, Nicholas Wells, Mayfair Gallery, Butchoff, Three One Four Studio, Steinway & Sons, Fileman Antiques, and Harald Altmaier.
At the heart of this space is the newly commissioned wallpaper design, Nobuko, a piece born from Stephanie’s recent trip to Tokyo and designed in collaboration with Fromental. Inspired by the intricate work of French sculptor Ivan Leon Alexandre Blanchot from 1925, which graces the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, the design evokes a sense of historical depth while embracing modern sensibilities.
To see the Collective, visit the fair between 23 – 27 October (Preview on the 22nd).
