Vetting at the LAPADA Fair

Visitors to the LAPADA Fair can buy with confidence in the knowledge that every object available for sale has gone through a vigorous vetting process with our 70-strong committee of specialists. Vetting ensures that each item is faithfully and accurately represented by its labelling. This includes ensuring that each item is from the period it is represented to be and has not been significantly altered at a later stage. Vetting also verifies that claims of attribution to a certain artist or maker are accurate and that no item is misrepresented in any way.
